TraverseCE documents watch-verified learning. It is not a board-approved provider.
- What is TraverseCE?
- TraverseCE is an online continuing-education site for land surveyors and survey technicians. You watch curated YouTube modules, pass a quiz on each module, track hours by calendar year, and download a PDF certificate.
- How do I earn hours?
- Watch at least 80% of a module to unlock its quiz. Score 70% or higher to pass. When you pass, that module’s hours post to your log once per module per calendar year. Retries are allowed if you do not pass.
- How are hours verified?
- Your account stores watch progress and quiz results. The year-end certificate lists your name, the modules you completed, total hours, the issue date, and a verification code so you (or someone you authorize) can confirm the document matches TraverseCE’s records.
- Is TraverseCE approved by my state board?
- No. TraverseCE is not a board-approved provider and does not claim that any state board accepts its certificates for renewal. Licensing boards set their own rules—some require approved providers, specific topics (such as ethics or standards), live courses, or other formats. Confirm acceptance with your own state board before you rely on TraverseCE hours for renewal. Board-approval research is ongoing as a separate project and is not a launch claim.
- Who is TraverseCE for?
- Licensed professional land surveyors / professional surveyors, survey technicians, and exam candidates who want structured video learning with documented quizzes. It is nationwide and fully online.
- What does the $99 membership include?
- Annual access to the full 475-module catalog, quizzes, hours tracking, and certificates that can include member modules for the membership year. The free tier remains available without paying.
- What is on the free tier?
- 39 free modules plus the ability to earn and certificate those free-module hours. A demo account lets you browse the full catalog experience.
- Can I get a refund if my board will not accept the hours?
- A refund policy is not published yet. It will be published before payments go live. Regardless of refund terms, TraverseCE does not guarantee board acceptance.
- Is TraverseCE part of Element Land Surveying?
- No. TraverseCE is a separate personal product. It does not use Element branding.
- Do you have a Google Business Profile or classroom locations?
- No. TraverseCE is online-only.
